The relocation of offices to a new place makes employees feel alienated, regardless of the presence of the merged company. Often, managers do not involve human resource managers, while taking a decision on the impending merger or acquisition. However, when the event takes place, the HR department of the company is too impotent to exercise damage control and relieve anxiety among employees.
